Terms & conditions
Last updated: February 2026. Plain-language terms for commission work.
1. Quotes and scope
Every price on this site is a starting estimate, not a fixed quote. Once we've talked through what you need, I'll confirm a firm price (or hourly rate for open-ended work) before any code gets written. If the scope changes significantly mid-project, I'll flag it and we'll agree on a new price before I continue.
2. Payment
Payment is typically split: a portion upfront to begin work, with the remainder due on delivery for smaller jobs, or in milestones for larger ones. Exact terms are agreed on a per-project basis before work starts. Accepted methods are PayPal (USD), Robux (via group payout or direct trade), or a negotiated revenue share.
3. Revisions
Reasonable revisions that fall within the original scope are included. Requests that add new functionality beyond what was agreed on count as new work and may involve an additional charge.
4. Delivery and ownership
Once a commission is paid in full, the delivered code is yours to use in your project. I don't reuse client-specific code in other commissions without permission, though I may reuse general-purpose systems or patterns I've built independently.
5. Refunds
If I haven't started work, you can cancel for a full refund. Once work is underway, refunds are prorated based on what's been completed. If a project is cancelled after delivery, no refund applies.
6. Communication
I aim to respond within a reasonable time given I'm working around school. If I go quiet for an extended stretch on an active project, reach out on Discord and I'll get back to you.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated occasionally. The version in effect at the time you commission work is the one that applies to that project.
